Ramzan is one of the five pillars of Islam. Fasting from sunset to sunrise is compulsory for all adult Muslims. In Ramzan the spiritual rewards are believed to be multiplied. Muslim devote more time for prayer and acts of charity. When Ramzan arrives, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of hell are closed and the devils are put in cages. Ramzan is a time of spiritual reflection. Ramzan,s purpose being to cleanse the soul by freeing it from te harmful impurities. In Ramzan Muslims are encouaged to read the entire Quran.
Last but not the least, the meaning of Fast is "Patience" so whatever you like or dislike bear it all with Patience.
